As I am leaving Europe today, departing from Crete in Greece, I reflect. Oh how much love there is around me, I could cry. I rejoice.
A beautiful woman Naomi I met here in Crete embodies this love. When I am with her, we are playing as little girls again, while also talking about things with deep wisdom.
The food I had last night😍 Two Cretan brothers, cooking dishes each night from their farm. I went into the restaurant and they showed me the food they made and it was my choice by sight. At the end, we talked and talked and they gave me as much dessert as I pleased.
Giving breathwork sessions. Holding that space. Watching people rebirth.
Oh and don't even get me started on Utku. The Dance of Universal Peace. His home. His cat, Su. Thank you for showing me Turkey with your love for the country.
Angel-Leigh😍 I melt. We are warrior sisters, traveling with the world with our love and innocence and justice, meeting so many friends as we go. Romi, Klaskie, Utku, and many more.
And Kevin and Bradly. The hang out fort of Samothraki. The melon parties.
The breathing school. The strength, courage, and dedication in each one of us. Clara. Emily. Mike. Jonny. Daniella. Alex and Milena who have showed me nothing but care and love. The people who held me, the woman who sang to me. It was here I truly learned what it means to hold myself. That I've got this. I've got me. Life, I am ready to embrace you with gentleness and love.
And last but not least, the little life I joined in France. This was my first stop, and I was different then. Younger. And I lived where a dad worked in a chocolate factory and mom stayed at home, nurturing, taking care. Sweet brother growing into a man with the gentle smile of a young boy. And O. Oh sweet O. The love for her home. The gentleness in her voice. Figs every morning. Everyday a new adventure. Skyjo (card game) at night. Life here is warm and cozy and sweet. And funny. The french are funny. Much love to this family.
And now, at home in Pennsylvania, the northern lights call me back. The sky rejoices for my return, mimicking the spirit of my mother. There are big, warm, open arms waiting for me.
Everywhere I go, there is love, and I am in awe of life's magic. Thank you, God
